Bella Turner, a junior at Bakersfield Liberty High in California, won both the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles at the Gateway to Track and Field Invitational at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Turner clocked a personal-best 15.06 in the 100 hurdles and ran 44.81 in the 300 hurdles, along with contributing to a fourth-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:07.41.
